ET – It’s time to rev up!

Discovery Channel is counting down to the fall launch of its new motorcycle miniseries, Harley and the Davidsons, and Game of Thrones stud Michiel Huisman (a.k.a. Daario Naharis) is at the center of all the exciting action.

ET has the exclusive first look at the official trailer, which debuted Monday at the summer Television Critics Association press tour.

Based on a true story, Harley and the Davidsons centers on the birth of the iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycle and the founders behind the revolutionary, century-old company, brothers Walter (Huisman) and Arthur Davidson (The Little Rascals’ Bug Hall), and their pal, Bill Harley (Game of Thrones’ Robert Aramayo).

UNREALITY TV – GAME OF THRONES ROBERT ARAMAYO AND MICHIEL HUISMAN STAR IN DISCOVERY CHANNEL’S BRAND NEW SCRIPTED SERIES

Based on a true story, HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS chronicles the childhood friends behind the rise of America’s most iconic motorcycle company. The three part mini-series charts the birth of Harley-Davidson during a time of great social and technological change and tells the epic story of how two 19-year-olds, with help from their families, started a company in their backyard that would go on to become an American legend.

Beginning at the turn of the 20th century, on a humble street in Milwaukee at the shores of Lake Michigan, William (Bill) Harley and Arthur Davidson designed a motorised bicycle that they believed would give people a new way to see the world around them.

The friends who refused to settle for the status quo, faced adversity, challenges, tragedy and competition but at the sign of every setback they found a way to push forward. HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS goes inside the minds, hearts and motors of these young men to show how ordinary men took their dream and built a company that became a global empire.

HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS will premiere exclusively in the UK on Discovery Channel, 9pm, Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September (Sky 520, Virgin 250, BT TV 322)

VARIETY – Discovery Channel is revving up production on its limited series about the founders of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, casting Michiel Huisman (“Game of Thrones”), Robert Aramayo (“Game of Thrones”) and Bug Hall (“The Little Rascals”), and tapping Evan Wright and Seth Fisher to write the six-hour project.

“Harley and the Davidsons,” from Raw Television, will tell the story of the birth of the iconic brand launched in 1903 by two friends from Milwaukee, William Harley and Arthur Davidson. Production is slated to begin in March. The series will air in three two-hour installments later this year.

Huisman (Daario Naharis on “Game of Thrones”) will star as Walter Davidson, while Aramayo will play William (Bill) Harley and Hall will portray Arthur Davidson in the series.

“Harley and the Davidsons” is part of the push to add a select number of high-end scripted projects to Discovery’s lineup under the leadership of Rich Ross, who took the reins of the cabler a year ago. Ross recruited producer John Goldwyn to drive the scripted initiative. Goldwyn exec produces “Harley” with Dimitri Doganis and Ciàran Donnelly. Donnelly is set to direct the first and third installments of the series.

“It was essential to find a dynamic, contemporary voice for a show set in the turn of the century America. With Evan Wright and Seth Fisher, we feel we have selected the perfect writers to transport the Discovery viewers back to the formative, hardscrabble years of Harley Davidson and the birth of motorcycle racing,” Ross told Variety.

Wright’s recent credits include Amazon’s “Man in the High Castle” and FX’s “The Bridge.” Fisher recently worked on National Geographic Channel’s “Saints and Strangers.” He’s also an actor who has logged appearances on “The Good Wife” and “CSI,” among other shows.
